Mama doll really got me going onto something that I LOVE!! I am using the same head with a more grown up face and grown up arms and legs to make Sarah. Her head is all painted and her bonnet is made. I'm working on her arms and legs which I am also really happy with. She will be like an old vintage portrait doll. I may offer to do portrait dolls for others using this pattern and just painting the face differently. My baby niece will be first. We'll see how that goes. This is a picture of her before I started doing any detail. Just a template so far. I'll take a picture of her completely painted tomorrow. She looks much better all done and I love her bonnet too.
